• This Ultrasound package is to verify Fetal Growth and is carried out between 24 - 34 weeks gestation.

• The scan includes measurements of the baby's head, abdomen and femur - and in addition an evaluation of the placenta and the amniotic fluid arround the baby. We also assess the blood flow through the cord if required.

• Calculations are then made to ensure correct fetal development and growth - and to provide an estimation of the baby's weight.

• You will be provided with a detailed Report - plus several black and white images of your baby at the end of the scan.

• Many Mothers find this a very reassuring scan - as it is carried out in the period between their 20 week scan and birth.

• Please bring your Hospital Obstetric Notes with you when you come for this scan.
